The organization of the CSM'2003 will be very similar to the organization
of the CSM workshops in previous years as such an approach has proven to
be succeessful.

- Submission of extended abstracts
(please email abstracts as using the abstract form available

your email) - April 15
- Acceptance of presentations (based on submitted abstracts)
and sending out invitations for CSM'2003 - April 30
- Final registration - June 15
The opening and closing of the CSM'2003 workshop are planned
for Monday, September 8th at 9:00,
and Wednesday, September 10th at 16:30, respectively.
Basic organizational assumptions
In order to meet the aims
of the workshop and due to logistic's constraints, the number
of participants of the workshop has to be limited.
This will provide all participants with good opportunities for
presenting their own work, for learning from the experience of colleagues
working in related research areas, and for establishing new
contacts.
The schedule of the workshop will provide ample time for discussions
and interactions.
Extended abstracts
of the proposed contributions are the primary criterion for
selection
of the presentations.
Abstracts of accepted presentations will be available on the Web
in June'2003.
Abstracts and papers:
- Extended abstracts of accepted presentations will be available
on the Web in June'2003.
- There are no plans to publish full papers related
to the presentations during CSM'03.
Presentations and sessions:
- 30 min. are allocated for each speaker, which is composed of
max. 20 min. presentation and at least 7 min. for questions and discussion.
- A PC (running Windows/XP and connected to the Internet
and to a display panel)
as well as an OHP will be available for all presentations.
- The agenda of the workshop will be fixed a few days before the
workshop.
It will be posted on the Web and it will be available in
the workshop hotel.
The agenda will be developed with a primary goal to keep related
presentations in one session and to avoid similar topics in
parallel sessions.
Participants will have an opportunity to express in the final registration
constraints for a day or time of his/her presentation.
Organizers kindly ask to use this opportunity only if really necessary.
Such wishes will be accounted for, if they will not be in conflict with
reaching the primary goal for setting the agenda.
- Chairpersons of sessions will be selected during preparation of the
agenda. Participants, who do not wish to chair a session are kindly
requested to select a corresponding option in the final registration
form.
- Papers will be presented on plenary sessions, and
on parallel (two at the same time) sessions.
The organizers kindly ask:
- the authors to make sure that their presentation will be finished
on time, and
- the chairpersons of the sessions to rigorously keep the schedule.
These measures are common for conferences with many parallel sessions,
hence we should have no problems with adopting them to our workshop
which has only two parallel sessions.
The organizers would like to thank the authors and the chairpersons
in advance for their cooperation in the smooth running
of the workshop.
Miscellaneous:
- Please consult the
accommodation
information well in advance.
- All workshop participants are welcome to use (free of charge) the
workshop bus.
- All workshop participants are cordially invited to
a Heuriger,
a traditional Austrian dinner, which will be held on Monday
evening (starting at about 18:30) at:
Heuriger Roschmann - 66
Wiener Strasse 66
2352 Gumpoldskirchen
Tel. 02252-62325
